We are situated right in the heart of Amsterdam- on the edge of the Red Light District.

Our guests can enjoy breakfast (inclusive exept apartments) untill 12 midday every day as well as happy hour prices on pints of beer and cider all day in the Greenhouse Effect Bar.We do not impose any curfew so come back as late (or early) as you like! You can choose to stay in one of our uniquely decorated rooms...

In June 1997 the GHE Bar established itself as the city´s premier venue for the best in modern dance and electronic music. Nightly DJ´s., both established and up and coming, have secured us an enviable reputation in Amsterdam´s hedonistic nightlife. Major artists from such diverse backgounds as Universal Egg (ZION TRAIN, ISM, JAH FREE), Ninja Tune (DK&DOM) and Amsterdams own Input Records (DARREN CROWLEY) have played here and we are proud wcase our own own ´homegrown´ talents such as DJ´s EMIR, PRESSURE, RED EYE, KANDYMAN, PATRICE et al. We aim to provide the best and most diverse DJ´íng talent under one roof in Amsterdam and in 1999 take it to new limits, all for free and in the best atmosphere possible.
